Hotel National Bern
I fell off the steps on check-in day and sprained my ankle.Staff is very helpful after the accident.No wheelchair accessible entrance but there is lift access from 0-4 floor.Got a double bed room on the 4th floor.Could be more wheelchair friendly if it wasn't for the beam in front of the door to my room.

Hotel National Bern
We were very pleased with our stay in this historic hotel very near to the train station. It has an iconic 150 years old elevator. It's an interesting experience to use it. The room is nice and clean and all the amenities are modern and working. The staff were friendly and helpful. Take note the reception opens till 9pm. So plan your arrival accordingly. Highly recommended to stay here.

Die Bedienung war enorm freundlich und zuvorkommend - so sympathisch haben wir einen Empfang schon lange nicht mehr erlebt! :-) Der Ort ist ideal gelegen, da der Bahnhof auch zu Fuss nur in ein paar Minuten erreichbar ist. Das Zimmer ist schön und einfach eingerichtet, mit einem kleinen süssen, steinigen Balkon. Auch das Bad hat seinen kleinen Charm. Das WLAN funktioniert ebenfalls ohne Probleme. Für uns war jedoch der alte Fahrstuhl das absolute Highlight, wie in einem Film!Fazit: Für den Preis können wir das Hotel wärmstens empfehlen.

Really enjoyed our stay here - highly recommend and would definitely stay again.Hotel is conveniently located a short walk away from station/public transport and close to the city centre.Breakfast buffet was varied, delicious and fresh. There is also a restaurant with great food.Rooms were clean with comfortable bedding.Cleanliness ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Location ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Breakfast/food ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Staff ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐(Also, you need to try out the beautiful 100+ year old lift)

Hotel National Bern
My stay here was horrible the rooms have no air conditioning , the small fan provided in the room can barely cool down a chihuahua. Its the middle of the summer and i couldnt even sleep because the room was so hot. To top it all off they had winter sheets on the bed. The bathroom was private but not connected to the room. If you want to sweat bullets and sleep horribly stay here.

Lage ist perfekt.Zimmer sind sehr klein aber für eine Nacht ok.Das Frühstück war abgesehen von der Möglichkeit sich einen Orangensaft selbst zu pressen sehr überschaubar.

Good hotel but we booked a small room and it has a window which opened in a balcony from where others could see or even come through their windows. However, it has great location. Very near to the train station and city center.

Bern is such a lovely city. The hotel is close to amenities. The lift is lovely . Transport just outside the hotel. Great place to explore and stay close to the train station.

Hotel National Bern
More then happy with this place.Reasonably priced. Rooms are clean and functional. Trams up front did not bother me. The included breakfast is fantastic. On offer are a wide variety of savoury ( cheese, ham, salami, soft boiled egg) and sweet (cereal, yoghurt, fruit salad) options and your bread croissant, butter and jams. Excellent coffee, self help from the machine, not percolated as it is so often the case. As I had to leave early, before breakfast, the lovley receptionist offered me a sandwich with ham or cheese to pick up the evening before to take with me on the day of departure.This stay was a very pleasant experience and I will be back also, but not only, of its superb location.PS I love that The National is a old building and has character

Hotel National Bern
Ein schönes altes *Baujahr 1913) Hotel. 600 Meter vom Hauptbahnhof entfernt - also sehr zentral. Das Personal ist supernett! Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt und würde auf jeden Fall wieder dort absteigen.
