Le chauffeur est venu nous chercher pour nous amener chez Giacomini: c’est à ce moment que notre aventure inoubliable a commencée ! Arrivée au refuge nous avons été accueillie très chaleureusement par les serveurs et le propriétaire des lieux. Les plats étaient délicieux, le service impeccable, une ambiance très familiale et décontractante dans un paysage enchanteur ! Une très belle étape avant de commencer une randonnée spectaculaire. Vous ne serez pas déçu du voyage.Un grand merci à toute l’équipe pour leur accueil et sourires. On a hâte de revenir !

Le refuge Giacomini a hélas complètement perdu ce qui faisait son charme: esprit et ambiance ont déserté le lieu. Une équipe jeune et sympathique y fait certes tout son possible mais c'est aujourd'hui un bistrot d'altitude comme les autres.

Wonderful place and wonderful food. We actually used Giacomini to cater for our stay at the Barroud hut and they did a wonderful job of providing great food for 16 people. Thank you Cecilia and team.

Dear Cicilia,We had a great stay at your refuge. The food, the staff and the rooms were perfectly fine. After the standerd menu the asked if we would like another plate and we got a pasta with meat for free. Compiments to the chef and Cecilia! Merci beaucoup!

Schön gelegenes Refuge am Rande des Grand Muveran. Es war sehe wenig los. Vermutlich dem Wetter geschuldet, obwohl es ein Sonntag war. Das Zimmer konnte erst sehr spät bezogen werden, was ich aufgrund der geringen Belegung (Lager zur alleinigen Benutzung) nicht nachvollziehen konnte. Essen war gut und Frühstück ausreichend. Tolle und ausreichend sanitäre Einrichtungen. Alles sauber gewesen.

I didn’t eat here but popped in after falling hard on the Villars Ultraks race. Staff were wonderful with first aid and kindness. I’m sure it’s a great place to eat and stay as the staff are top notch.
