HITrental Schmidgasse Apartments

The location is absolutely amazing! It is the perfect place if you want to have a base to travel around Switzerland, as it is very close to the main train station. The apartment had everything I needed and as a bonus the staff was lovely. Would definitely recommend if you don't mind to be in the middle of the city.

The apartment was very close to the main railway station, in the old town of Zurich.Check in was easy and flexible.The apartment had everything one might need: all the kitchen utensils where new, the coffee machine a Nespresso, the bed comfortable and the room faced a quiet patio. Definitely recommended if you want to stay in the old town and still be able to have a good night rest.It's a historical building without an elevator, but since I travel light, for me the upside of staying in house from the 14th century outweighted the narrow/steep staircase.Cleaning lady was very helpful, as was costumer service when I had requests.Definitely recommended.

Fantastische Lage, schönen Blick auf dem Limat vom Esstisch!Sehr klein aber fein.Leider war das Bett nicht bequem.

We booked this hotel a few days prior to the stay, for just 1 night, as we were due to travel to another part of Switzerland the following day. Unfortunately we didn’t get the opportunity to stay as my father unexpectedly passed away in the early hours of the morning on the day we were due to arrive.Whilst this is obviously not the fault of the apartments, when we explained the very sad situation to them and requested to cancel our whole trip, they refused to give us a refund. By contrast the two other hotels we booked in Switzerland were incredibly understanding and gave us a full refund immediately (despite us booking a non- refundable options). It’s really disappointing that this accommodation should put profits above compassion for their guests, and I would encourage others to spend their money elsewhere.

Nous avons réservé deux nuits. Nous n'avons pu fermer les yeux jusqu'à 3h le vendredi, donc je ne vous parle pas du samedi !!! On se croirait dans les bars en dessous. Musique, gens alcoolisés, cris, jet de bouteilles... Aucune isolation aux fenêtres! Ne louez pas d'appartement dans cette immeuble. Payer votre séjour un peu plus cher mais au moins vous pourrez dormir.

The location of the apartment was great and close to the train station. Self check in was easy and convenient too.Small, clean and cosy apartment that was very well planned. It has everything (kitchen with all sorts of utensils/pots/pans, washing machine within the building, hair dryer, ironing board, standing fan etc.) Dining table was expandable as well, which was really cool.The stairs up to the apartment was steep which can be quite challenging with luggages. Also, the apartment floor was slightly slanted which is only more obvious when sleeping. It would be great if the lightings could be slightly brighter, but all in all, t'was a wonderful stay! :)

The Apartment was neat and clean. It had good accessibility to the public transport. Stay was very comfortable and cozy.

Nice and essential apartment where you can find everithing you might need. Its strategic position, near downtown and Central Railway Station, makes of it an ideal choice for enjoying every moment in your staying in Zürich...I'll be back, for sure!

Modriger Geruch im Zimmer (könne Schimmel sein), Treppenhaus sehr Eng, Bad sehr klein. Nichts für Menschen über 1.70 und für grösseres Gepäck!

Schönes Apartment in einem historischen Gebäude mitten in der Altstadt. Achtung, kein Lift vorhanden, es geht über Jahrhunderte alte Treppen und verwinkelte Gänge nach Oben, hier wohnt man wirklich in einem Stück Stadtgeschichte, eine absolute Empfehlung
