Veysonnaz (4 Vallées)

Grosses Skigebiet. Zu viele Leute.

If you really want to make the best use of the full 4 Valleys ski area, Veysonnaz is not the best place to go. Sure, there nice places to stay there, but lifts in the Veysonnaz/Thyon area are really outdated (save the two cabin lifts). Most of them are surface lifts. Connection to the greater 4 valleys area is dependent on multiple older lifts and on days with less favorable weather you may be limited to either remain in the Veysonnaz/thyon area, can't ski at all or drive to another base station which may take anywhere between 30 and 90 minutes, depending where you go.Supermarket in the village is terribly expensive, even for Swiss standards.

Beautiful mountains and skitracks, but VERY outdated skilifts. A lot of drag-lifts" and busy connectionpoints to Verbier and other places. Prices are typical Swiss; a lot of money for low quality. Even foodwise.Don't think I will visit again."

Herziges Dorf, leider vor Saisonstart (Mitte Februar) ziemlich ausgestorben. Das wiederum ist perfekt für das wunderschöne Skiegebiet! Kein Anstehen, Platz in den Restaurants und die Gondel grad direkt vom Dorf.

Wunderschönes Skigebiet

Könnte zusammen mit 4 vallees ein Klasse Gebiet sein. Leider sind die Pisten schlecht präpariert, vor allem in den oberen Lagen. Die Liftanlagen oft veraltet (Verbindungslifte), mit langen Wartezeiten vor den Tellerliften.

Im Prinzip ein schönes Skigebiet ABER das Preis- / Leistungsverhältnis stimmt so gar nicht. Ja, Skifahren ist teuer aber 80 Euro für das 4 Valee Ticket ist einfach unverschämt viel. Warum? Unübersichtliche Pisten, ( stark ) veraltete Liftanlagen und schlechte Verbindungen zwischen den Pisten. Für das Geld erwarte ich mehr! Im Tal bei Saanen gibt es fast nur moderne Sessellifte und eine 1a Pistenplanung für das gleiche Geld.Dazu kommt ein unverschämter Umrechnungskurs wenn man in Euro bezahlt. Die einzelnen Tickets kosten einmalig 5 Franken, welche nicht zurückerstattet werden. Man geht davon aus das man im nächsten Jahr wieder kommt...Wir auf jeden Fall nicht.
