Grand Morillon Student House

Simply THE best student housing in Geneva.I came from a different accomodation first which was so horrible I had to leave there A.S.A.P. Almost all the student housings were full but not at Grand Morillon, which surprised me because the student houses are so much nicer than the average in Geneva. Very modern housing with lots of facilities such as a rooftop terrace, gym, gaming hall with airhockey and football table, coffee shop, food truck and much more. You definitely didn’t need to leave the residence if you didnt want to. The place is very modern. The studio was well designed and the shared kitchens were super modern and regularly cleaned. When I arrived in Geneva in my previous accomodation all I wanted to do was leave and go back home, when I arrived in Grand Morillon time flew by and I wasn’t ready to leave.

Very well appointed student residence. All facilities great, eg en suites, fully equipped kitchen (induction cooktops), recycling containers. V clever architecture. Good price too considering the level of facilities provided and that it's in one of the most expensive cities. Students are not allowed to have overnight guests though, not even parents.

Not the most forthcoming when it comes to finances. The lumpsum payment discount is cancelled out by the baseless VAT which is levied on top of the rent. Extremely slow with processing deposit refunds and applies whatever timeline it pleases and in the process not even following my requests for the refund to be made in a specific currency or bear the transfer costs as I did when I paid the rent. The only reason I am giving this place a 2 star is because of the overall enjoyable living experience I had during my stay.

It's a great residence for students. Ensures good quality of life with libraries, gym, meeting rooms, sports room and a lovely terrace!The living rooms are although a bit small and less storage places for your clothes. Otherwise, well connected to the main Geneva station, airport and old town with 3 bus routes.

I would say the place is close to everything in Geneva and this us the best advantage the rooms are so small equipped with the minimum items you could need, no way to have more than what is available, the rent price is high compare to the space I would give 4 out of 5

I've lived here for 2 years and the building and rooms are super nice and new. It's not far from the city center but there is a steep climb to go down to the lake that often makes it a bit uncomfortable to go out (not a big deal). The only downside is that the housing administration sucks, it seems like they intentionally try to be irritating.

Magnifique realisation

Very well appointed student housing in Geneva. Fair rent considering it's Geneva, and considering the architecture, central site and amenities. Furnished. Fully equipped kitchen. Induction hobs.

The residence is very pleasant, the rooms and all the equipment are modern and qualitative. I particularly appreciated the calm and the cleanliness, but also the different facilities (rooftop, gym, workroom,...). A big thank you to all the administration team who were warm and professional throughout my stay. I highly recommend it.
