Great place to stay. Very central location, within easy walking distance to many points of interest- museums, the lake, train station, shopping, bars and restaurants. The room was comfortable. A/C worked well, appreciate the shower and large/comfortable bed. Strong wifi, great bar downstairs. Staff was so kind and accommodating for early check in (thankfully they had availability). The location of the hotel is great, it is a walking distance from practically everything.They have easy self check-in and check-outThe rooms are quite small but clean. the complementary items usually in hotels were not there ( i kinda depended on it, but thats on me)The bathroom sink was inside the room which was inconvenient since the floor was usually wet.You have to book your house cleaning a day before, and i noticed they did not change the bed sheetsOverall the hotel was nice but probably won’t stay there again.

It has been a really nice surprise on being there. Room modern, compact and nice sound insulation. Amazing breakfast but the highest point was the professionalism and friendless approach from the staff, especially Jack who was really kind and went above and beyond on several occasions.

This hotel is in a more quiet part of town but still pretty walkable to the main sights. My husband and I didn’t love the layout of the room. Only one of the four sides of the bed is exposed to the room, making it difficult for one person to climb into bed without disturbing the other. Also, the far side of the bed does not have any access to outlets, which I found to be very inconvenient when charging my phone at night. Upon check in, we found that our bed sheets had a blood stain and there was a dirty tissue wedged between the bed and the window sill, which they did come clean when we called. We had an issue with our adapter getting stuck in an outlet, and when we called to have someone help us, they brought us a new adapter but didn’t send anyone to help remove ours, even though they said they would. We had to call again the next day and they sent someone the next morning when we were leaving to remove it. This hotel is trying to be ultra modern with everything controlled by the iPad, but honestly I found it to be a nuisance when doing things like trying to use the bathroom in the middle of the night and not being able to find a light switch. The blackout curtains are very effective and don’t let any light in. The air conditioning worked but never got super cold. We did appreciate the elevators, easy check in and out, mini fridge in the room, and access to water to refill our water bottles. Overall, it didn’t seem like a great value for the high price.

I just got done with my visit here, and I was super impressed. The room is comfortable, and AC works well which is critical in the summer. There’s free water 24/7 that’s filtered - and includes carbonated water (delicious!!). There’s a chiller in the room, not a full fridge - great for drinks. If you’re nice to the staff, you’ll also learn how there’s free bread! I enjoyed the LED lighting in the room and being able to turn on/off lights and control the tv from the app. If you’re sharing the room with someone and you both have to use the bathroom a lot in the night - you will not enjoy this room as only one side has easy access to the room. This wasn’t an issue for us.Location is great in Zurich - two cafes nearby. I can’t speak to the hotels breakfast, but their food on order was good.You can check in and check out without interacting with others and from your phone - huge plus as an introvert. Honestly biggest win for us was that we forgot a bag with ID in the bar, they quickly saw it and stored it securely and gave it to us later.I’ll always stay here when I’m in Zurich!

I’m a mycitizenm+ member so I know what to expect of citizenM hotels. This property in Zurich did not disappoint. The location is perfect for exploring Zurich and nearby towns as it is near public transportation. Room was clean, although I think the AC in our room was broken as it was not getting cold as you would expect. Breakfast was great too, lots of options and hot food. What made our stay unforgettable was the staff, especially Cathy and Jack, who were both superstars.

Perfect walking distance to old town. The room was very clean. Even has an iPad that allows you to put the curtains down automatically and light the room in different colors. Lobby is clean and cool looking. Overall happy I choose this hotel.

Close enough to most destinations, especially the tram central station for the 11am free city tour (outside Credit Suisse)Service = 5 ⭐️ most of the staff are friendly, helpful & cheerfulOverall design = excellent. Just love the modern design from the moment I entered the building.Business trip = I’m here on holiday, but if I’m ever here again on business, I’ll definitely choose this place. Internet is great and the lounge is spacious and conducive for work. They also have rooms to rent for small business meetings.Breakfast = it’s not a great spread, but good enough for me. Love all the bread, fruits, Rosti & delicious mushrooms. My mum loves the yogurt & cheese!

I've been to the Citizen M in Boston and Zurich. They both are very much on brand. The biggest plusses is their dark out curtains, the comfortable bed, and how everything felt really clean. It even smelled good, which I'm a bit peculiar about. I had breakfast there and while I found it a bit expensive (this might just be a critique of Zurich as a whole. It is really hard to eat out cheaply), if you have a lot of activities stacked later in the day it, it is really helpful in giving you the fuel you need. Also the coffee is pretty good. The hotel rooms itself is really gadgety. While that is probably a neutral for me, I bet it is really decisive for a lot of the visitors where some visitors absolutely love it or hate it. It was intuitive enough to use and I don't think an average person will have a problem.I would say the hotel as a whole caters to visitors under the age of 40 though.The staff is really friendly, and helped me with some complications arising from my trip. Overall, I would stay at a Citizen M again. Also as a hint, I think you typically get some noticeably better deals if you use their App to book. I found the App a bit glitchy, but probably worth checking out if you are set on staying with them.

I have visited the same hotel in Amsterdam so I knew the format. Everything is essential but it was enough for me. I didn't try breakfast but I relied on the bar and the service was perfect. The staff is always nice and ready to help. Very accessible prices for an expensive city
