Un endroit où j'allais souvent auparavant Avons pris un hamburger. La viande hachée était de basse qualité. Une assiette de saumon qui était quelconque. Les plats servis ne sont pas au niveau d'un 5 étoiles, par contre les prix oui. Régulièrement on venait prendre nos assiettes afin de les débarrasser mais nous n'avions pas fini de manger. A partir de 18h environ, les lumières sont baissées donc il fait très sombre et c'est peu plaisant pour un apéritif/dinatoire. Aucune envie d'y retourner.

Just ordered a Caesar salad at the LP bar of Lausanne palace and I’m insanely disappointed with it. I don’t usually write reviews, but this salad was something else.. To begin with, ambiance was completely off. BRIGHT lighting is not suitable for a bar, OR a restaurant and neither was the sofa with peeling leather from 20 years ago.I ordered the salad with prawns instead of chicken- prawns had been frozen and were difficult to bite into. Aftertaste was HORRIBLE! Salty and evidently very old- tasted like they had been taken in and out of the freezer repetitively for months. Croutons were tiny, tomatoes tasted metallic, lettuce was close to a wilted state and sauce was apparently homemade but tasted store-bought to me. You’d definitely find something better in the meal section of the supermarket and probably better quality. Despite this, manager was very accommodating, but they should definitely think about purchasing better quality ingredients.

Tres bonne ambiance service impeccable. Et excellents vins ouverts. Le champagne a la coupe ne casse pas des briques mais il fait le job (Laurent Perrier unique choix non rosé). Dernier bémol :des chips en accompagnement..

J'ai toujours aimé allé au Lp's car je trouvais le service professionel et la nourriture délicieuse. Malheureusement cela n'est plus le cas. Autant le service que la nourriture ont baissé. Notamment la salade caesar n'est pas digne d'un palace. Le club sandwich a vu son prix augmenter et les portions diminuer. Dommage dorénavant je vais au Royal savoy.

Clairement pas de la classe moyenne-haute, j'aime cependant de temps en temps profiter d'un moment de confort que propose le LP's Bar. Un accueil et service toujours professionnel, un cadre chaleureux... Je l'ai fait découvrir à une collègue universitaire qui n'aurait jamais osé franchir la porte ; elle a été surprise de l'égalité de traitement, malgré le fait qu'on ne porte pas de la haute couture"

One of the worst service experiences I had in a hotel bar ever. I got there 3 hours before their closing time. The manager took my order for a decaf coffee, since I did not want to order room service to avoid waking up my partners. He said he would bring it out to the terrace. I waited for 45 minutes and it never came. I went to the bar and asked the staff for my coffee once again. I was told it was coming and again never did, after 30 minutes I asked the bar staff again. I was told they couldn't give me coffee anymore since the coffee machine was closed and they also did not have service on the terrace anymore. Surprising, considering there was a table being served there while I waited. When I asked the manager he plainly told me he no longer had service and I had to order from room service. The hotel staff was, thankfully, very helpful and got me a coffee from room service served in the main lobby.

We used to enjoy this bar so much.Before Covid. This place was cool, dynamic, funky, and brilliant. The bar's music, the live music on Friday and Saturday, and the food's quality were fantastic. including the late opening hours even on Sundays till 1 am.Post-Covid and until now ( Sept 2022 ), everything just went downhill. Poor bar music, dull place, early closure times at 10 or 11 pm with full Sunday closures as if it's an office or a bank!!!Something has gone wrong with this 5-star hotel's bar, it's become a dull, quiet, sad atmosphere and unfriendly staff.This place is in need of change management very very soon...
