Außerordentliche Sicht beim hoch fahren und runter fahren mit der Bahn.Lange Wartezeit eh man hoch fahren kann. Zeit könnte man verkürzen, wenn man Zeit für den Zug den man nehmen kann vorbucht und reserviert. Aber den Aufpreis pro Person sollte man sich echt überlegen. Auf dem Pilatus ist es eine Wunderschöne Aussicht. Auch wenn man unten beim anstehen ins schwitzen kommt, sollte man daran denken, dass es in der Höhe vom Pilatus recht frisch werden kann!

Incredible views. Will recommend to buy with 5 euro waiting line skip for the tram. Otherwise will wait 30+min for your turn as we did. I didn't knew about waiting line skip.

Die Fahrt mit der steilsten Zahnradbahn der Welt sollte man sich nicht entgehen lassen. IM Vorfeld hatte ich viel Gejammer darüber gehört, dass die schönen alten Triebfahrzeuge" ausgemustert worden waren. Stattdessen kamen wir in den Genuss

Great way to go up or down Pilatus. I think walking at least one way is quite rewarding but would recommend taking the funicular the other way, as it is the steepest one (45 degrees!).It has a middle station for those who want to walk up or down but don’t feel like doing the whole way.Needless to admit, the ride is quite pricy but not out of the ordinary in Switzerland - would definitely recommend.Final tip - arrive early to secure the spot on parking below the bottom station, costs 5 Franks and machines only takes cash or the Swiss payment app.

We did the Golden Hour or whatever it's called. Started in Luzern and jumped on the train since it's 45mins faster to the COG wheel. Then got lucky and caught the first COG wheel to the top. IT'S STEEP. But the views are amazing. We took way too many pics. Do the dragon trail and then keep walking up the steps. Everything circles back to the main part where the food/bathrooms are any way. The stairs to heaven are awesome too. We were some of the first ones there for the day bc it gets busy and after being up there for an hour or so you could tell everyone and their mom was coming up. Make sure to stop at the tobagon run on the way down on the rail car. It's sooooo much fun and had amazing views. There were some guys playing/blowing these old school horn and you hear the cows and their bells the entire time. We ended up taking the small rail car down from the tobagon run and caught the bus back to Luzern. 100% recommend.

The train goes smoothly but waiting for it on the ground station... Ticket queue (VIP also) was terrible. Nothing ruled and the waiting time was over 1h. Upper station rules great.

Really nice views from the top, but waiting times are outrageous ( both going and returning) and cable car stops if there is wind , making queues even worse; for the funicular the reservation is must-have otherwise plan for 1-2 hours in the queue before getting on.

What a truly enjoyable experience!We did the Golden Roundtrip, which makes things convenient and seamless, even if it doesn't offer and monetary savings.We took the boat from Luzern to the Pilatusbahn station, went up the Pilatusbahn Cog railway to the top, took the gondola/lifts down, and the #1 bus back to our starting pointViews were spectacular. Food was surprisingly good and affordable. And the alpine horn serenade at top was a nice addition.Note: while the directional arrows from the gondola station to the bus were helpful, they ended just prior to the bus stop and it was guesswork to know which side of the street to stand on.

We took the Cogwheel train upto Mt Pilatus and it was an interesting and quite an experience. The ride is smooth with extraordinary panoramic views. Please don't forget a reservation to decrease wait time.
