Great bar, outstanding serviceThe Olden bar is a wonderful place to just hang out with friends. Last winter, just before celebrating my 50th birthday party, we enjoyed the great atmosphere. Lovely bar, excellent relaxed food and outstanding service. The fireplace in the winter makes the whole place just so cozy.

They have a perfect cappuccino ☕️

Very nice location. Good food. Great beer. But the service wasn’t the best. I believe I had to be looking for the server over 5 times to try to get things... and there was a party of about 14 people next to us sitting in a table for 10 and they were obnoxious - On top of it... one of them lost an earring or something. The disturbance they caused was annoying. It made me leave - I really wanted to relax here and drink a lot more but instead you had people starring at you because they thought the cheap earring was under my table. Will probably come back but to pick up food only to eat at home.

Never stayed here, but I keep going for lunch and dinner. Amazing food, penne alla vodka, cotoletta, … it’s top notch from start to end. Ask them to make an Iron Balls gin tonic! Yum. Italian charme in the midst of the Gstaad promenade. Say no more.

Came for dinner 2 nights in a row over a 3-night stay in Gstaad we love the Olden so much !! Exceptional food, service and atmosphere

Sehr Symphatisches Hotel mit angenehmen Ambiente. Von Mitarbeiter bis Direktor: Zuvorkommend, freundlich und offen. Die Weinkarte ist besonders zu empfehlen. Merci beaucoup Ermes für deine Gastfreundschaft.

Excellent restaurant, as is the quality of the food. It offers seasonal products. You may have the opportunity to hear an excellent singer during your evening. Go there as early in the evening as possible.

(Restaurant)Absolutely rude staff and very poor customer service.I had called on a monday to book a table for 6 people for the Saturday following.Been told that there was another big group coming in and that they needed to see if they were to cancel first. So technically we’ll be on a waiting list.I went ahead and booked somewhere else.I received no correspondence or follow up on until the day of the expected dinner, i get a call from a person (according to him, he is the one in charge), telling me if it was confirmed for tonight, I politely say I’m sorry we already booked somewhere else, he starts dropping comments like “this is not good from you, you should call and cancel” I apologized regardless.I then clarified the situation, and instead of him apologizing on their side for never confirming the reservation, and talking to me in a very rude manner, he insists that it is my fault.Never been there, but will absolutely never go.
