Non loin du bord de l’eau, ce restaurant vous accueille en terrasse et à l’intérieur avec une très belle carte de saison. Les plats sont loins de ceux d’une brasserie, mais plutôt un avant goût du restaurant étoilé du Beau-Rivage. Fraîcheur, fusion de saveurs, produits locaux et originalité des accords font de ce restaurant une formidable étape dans votre visite de Lausanne. Le service est prévenant et vous laisse le temps pour profiter de vos plats. Les vins au verre suisses sont très bien et proposes à de bons prix.

We had a wonderful experience. Everything was just incredible, super-kind staff, amazing food, and special Christmas decorations.We took the long way in, through the hotel lobby.* Two adults, two kids age 5 and age 1.5* There is an extensive kids menu.

Un moment apaisant au beau rivage. Après s’être installé nous avons très rapidement eu un beau choix de vins pour les apéritifs. La sélection est courte et la sommelière nous donne de bons conseils. L’attente fut longue avant de prendre notre commande mais la qualité des plats rattrape largement ce faux pas. J’ai pris la polenta en entrée, le filet de cabillaud en plat. L’entrée est très belle et délicieuse. La cuisson du cabillaud est très bonne et l’accompagnement bon même s’il manque légèrement d’assaisonnement.Pour finir avec l’addition nous avons les madeleines sorties du four.En somme un service et des plats proches de la perfection !

Un grand merci à toute l'équipe du CBR pour ce beau moment que nous avons passé en famille. L'ambiance sur la terrasse l'été est très agréable, la cuisine était délicieuse: poisson bien cuit, plat original et très bien réalisé (raviolo de homard). Le service était parfait et très attentif.

The cafe is a wonderful place to have lunch. Also, just walking through this majestic building and absorbing all the art and intricate building details is very plleasing.As to the cafe, the service is impeccable by the staff and a pleasure to enjoy.As to the meals, we have a mixed opinion. As we are vegetarians, we contacted the restaurant in advance, and we agreed on two types of salads as starter and either tortellini or gnocci as main dishes.The food was wel presented as can be seen from the photos. However, the salad with the orange pieces was quite bitter and not to my taste. With a table partner, we swapped the salads, and luckily, the green salad with parmigiano was well seasoned and tasted delicious.I had the tortellini dish, and while the cheese tortellini was good, the combination with a bitter vegetable and a lot of lemon sauce overpowered the tortellini totally. It was not really enjoyable.On the other hand, the persons who had taken the gnocci were very complementary and happy with their dish.

A restaurant accessible through park next to the lake. Appetizers were good. Main course overall was so so. Fish dish was better than beef or lamb. Prices was high.
