Cyclomundo

This was our third year doing a self-guided trip with Cyclomundo. 5 couples on a mix of road and e-bikes - this time in Sicily. As always the trip was meticulously organised, the routes were beautiful and our local representative couldn't have done more to help. If you book with Cyclomundo the only thing you have to worry about is where to eat lunch! Just book - you won't regret it.

The booking process was flawless. I received all my routes ,ride with gps, prior to leaving for my self guided but supported tour. The routes were safe,spectacular and with many choices of lunch stops on route. Hotel accommodation was very good. Bicycle was an electric bmc in top condition. Loved it !!

We took the route, Bordeaux to Toulouse along the canal. The stops en route were barely open; we struggled to find places to eat lunch. I cannot recommend this route.

Delightful Self-Guided Cycling Tour. Amazing Staff. Highly Recommend!Bruno and team did a wonderful job of arranging a custom cycling tour for our group of 6. We had 4 members in our group from USA and 2 from the UK. Ability level ranging from easy/moderate cyclist to strong riders. Bruno and team went out of their way to ensure the tour would suit everyone.We did a 4 day Gastronomic Provence Tour and added 1 day on the front to ride L'Alpe D'Huez (which was on the bucket list of several members in our group). Two members also added on climbing Ventoux one day, while the rest of us did an easier day.Bruno himself collected us from the train station and took us to our first accomodation. He ensured we all had a very comfortable bike fit and that we were settled and happy.The accommodations arranged were great, we stayed in guesthouses/bed and breakfasts, and hotels. They were all picturesque, clean and comfortable, with friendly staff and wonderful food! Each morning our luggage was taken to the next overnight stay.We would cycle on bike paths and roads to make our way to each new stop - through vineyards, past quaint cottages, beautiful churches, and under groves of giant trees. It was so pretty. We did 25-35 miles per day.Some of the Cyclomundo routes have GPS directions. Ours was a little more old-school and written directions with maps (which mounted to a clipboard on my handlebars) and I loved the navigation aspect. (This was in 2014, so they are likely all GPS now!) Accurate descriptions meant we stayed on course.Each day we would find somewhere fun to stop for coffee/lunch to fuel us on our way. We were treated to a delightful snacks and drinks when we arrived at the guesthouses. We enjoyed dinners either onsite or nearby in town. A lovely breakfast would set us up for the day ahead. Our stops were: Alpe d’Huez, then we were driven on to Marsanne where we cycled to Saint-Paul-les-Trois-Chateaux, Orange, and finished in Avignon.It was one of our most enjoyable and memorable trips. We are very grateful to Bruno and team. We look forward to planning a trip with them again in the future.

Nous avons passé des vacances formidables grâce à Cyclomundo que nous recommandons vivement. C'était notre première expérience de randonnée à vélo (et ce ne sera pas la dernière car les étapes sont d'excellents moyens de découvrir différents centres d'intérêt, on va de bonnes surprises en bonnes surprises !). Delphine était de très bon conseil pour cet itinéraire Dolomites Venise, et a répondu à toutes nos attentes et nos questions.Sur place, tout est parfaitement organisé : choix des hôtels de qualité, vélos performants, itinéraire très détaillé (appli, cartes, et descriptif détaillé) majoritairement sans voitures... pour un prix très raisonnable. Bravo et merci Cyclomundo !

Excellent service et accueil.J'ai loué un vélo pour le tour du lac léman et j'ai eu un vélo neuf toutes options sans supplémentles équipes sont top et très disponibles !Pas simple à trouver mais je recommande sans souci.

Thanks Cyclomundo - 'Three Lakes' was a fabulous ride.We've been on 7 supported tours in Europe and your support tools (GPS, App, etc) were the best we've experienced. We considered spending a day or two on the harder 'Famous Climbs and Lesser Known Passes', but were glad we stayed on the lower Lakes route - there were interesting locations and enjoyable experiences every day, which we would have missed on the higher route.Loved the route. GPS was essential - would have been too complex to be following written notes.

Highly recommended Cyclemundo. Very accommodating, excellent hotel selections (location & comfort), and great bikes. We opted for self-guided and the routes were fantastic, scenic, great side roads avoiding traffic, climbing grades were not too steep & each day they provided several variations of rides (longer / shorter rides). GPS unit preloaded, routes also available for any app use. I can’t say enough about how much we appreciated Bruno & team, we had travel issues and they were the catalyst that helped make the trip happen. We will definitely use them again.

Cyclomundo was the perfect bike tour company for us. We wanted to celebrate our anniversary with an adventure, in comfort but without overdoing it, and by ourselves. Every part of Cyclomundo's service was perfect. The itinerary materials came promptly so we could anticipate our trip. When we arrived at the starting point, everything we needed was waiting for us from orientation materials, the bikes and safety gear and the hotel vouchers and detailed itinerary booklets. Our hotels were comfortable with amazing breakfasts. The luggage transport service couldn't have been easier. This was the best trip ever! We look forward to doing another trip next year.

Lovely ride through the Rhone-Alps region, following the Rhone river from Geneva to Lyon. Daily mileage was moderate and accommodations were comfortable. Great meals were included in the tour. This trip was put together very well.
