This was a wonderful experience - the waiter helped work through my group's limited French to recommend the lamb and it was fantastic - well marinated, not tough or chewy, and full of flavour. My friends ordered the set menu and were equally happy. It's definitely worth a visit for lunch before lazing the afternoon away by the Lake.

I went here during a week day lunchtime in May, it was very quiet, therefore easy to get a table. The staff are really amiable and spoke both French and English. The food was really good, I had the plat du jour and my companion had the vegetarian version. Both were really good and there was more than enough food. The prices were good for Geneva.

Authentic Halal Ethiopian Food in Geneva with beautiful ambience ♥️ The people here have grand souls and are genuinely welcoming (no fakeness) and truly hospitable. Some of the nicest people you will be lucky to meet. Make sure to talk to them, and try different dishes on the menu. Don’t leave without tasting the traditional tea. Its different to anything else I’ve had. The meat dishes are good and fresh. I left with both my heart and my stomach full.Thanks Team Awash ♥️

The food came cold (and in less than 3 to 4 mins of ordering). It was tasty though. When my Shiro got over, I had to go ask for more as I couldn't see the staff around. They took time to get the additional shiro. No one came to ask if i wanted the bill, either. I had to go to the entrance to ask if I could pay there. There was no apology either from them. Not impressed at all after hearing such good things about this place. There are better Ethiopian / Eritrean restaurants in Geneva!

Very good homemade Ethiopian food. Had the vegetarian platter and everything was delicious and fresh. The service was a little slow and the location is not the best. But the food was really great.
