Shop owners were super friendly and kind, they were closed for a break but they welcomed us anyway for a meal and gave us a free drink too!We ordered a pulled pork burger and pork belly ramen, highly recommend! Homemade ramen paired with onsen egg (I suspect it's homemade too), it's more on the saltier side but my husband likes it. I love how well they made the pulled pork burger but the portion was too much for me. I finished it anyway!!

Besuchte kürzlich das Restaurant Umami Taste in St. Gallen und war beeindruckt von der Qualität der Speisen und dem aufmerksamen Service. Die Atmosphäre war entspannend und das Interieur stilvoll gestaltet. Ein Muss für jeden, der in St. Gallen nach einem authentischen Geschmackserlebnis sucht.

I was highly impressed. The dishes are extremely good and I just loved to flavor combinations. In addition, the owner is just fantastic. So nice and welcoming. I can only say good things about this place! Highly recommended.

Eines der besten Restaurants in denen ich schon gegessen habe!!!!!! da reichen eigentlich 5 Sterne gar nicht. Die Bedienung äusserst zuvorkommend, man kann direkt in die offene Küche schauen wie gekocht wird. Das essen ist absolute Spitzenklasse und das lokal ist wunder schöne und detailreich eingerichtet. Und das wichtigste man fühlt sich richtig willkommen schon beim ersten Besuch.

Hands down in the top 10 places I have eaten so far. Very kind staff and nice atmosphere, only downside is that the bus goes next to the outer tables in the small street. Very reasonable prices for this quality in Switzerland.

Just perfect. Only few dishes on the menu but pefectly executed. The ramen was incredible. A very tasty broth. The noodle salad was cery well seasoned with a very tender tuna. Even the dessert was perfect. Not too sweet.

This really is amazing. The food just as delicious as it is pretty.We were a group of 5 that went for lunch and we all ordered the burrata for starters and in complete awe when they arrived. They were beautifully created and presented and mouthwatering delicious. All the various tastes and textures complimented each other to perfection.We also all had the homemade ramen in a peanut-chili soup and it was also made to perfection. We had the vegetarian, the pork and the veal and all agreed the food was amazing.The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, multilingual, and quick.This is a place to go to pamper yourself, bring your friends, family or just for a healthy and delicious lunch option.

Very good service, we’ve been asked many times if everything was all right. The food is very tasty, i love the texture, colors, freshness and the quality of the ingredients. The place is also in a very nice and accessible area. I truly recommand it.
