Chin Woo Kung Fu

Very disappointed. Started more than a year ago. Training was very good (very good instructors) and we were moving fast with a small group of beginners. After 9 months, we had made solid progress and I was expecting the first exam. Instead a new beginners class started and we were put with the complete beginners again. The problem is not to rework the basics which we all need to do in martial arts, the problem is that we stopped learning anything new, then came September and we started from 0 again with new beginners. There is no concept on how to integrate new people in the course…No exam in sight despite knowing the material for the first 2 (a trick used so that you can not complain about still beeing considered a beginner). When issue was raised to the master (who you will only see when he needs to collect money and has no clue about your level) he just mentions that you missed a few classes (sorry I do have a job but I practice the forms every week by myself and every day during holidays - apparently not sufficient). Just to mention that I know what training means - I played tennis at national level, I am working on my Taekowndo second Dan (after 10 years) and I have never ever stopped an activity in my life before having reached a good level - this is the first time - what a waste…
