Hotel NH Bern The Bristol

Excellent hotel in a fantastic part of Old Town Bern. Very close to most everything you will want to visit and 30 seconds from the Barensplatz, which is the city square in town. Many concerts, farmer’s markets and other events. We stayed for several nights this summer, had breakfast each morning at the hotel and were very pleased.

Oh my gosh! This place is amazing! A hidden gem in the center of everything in Bern. Ivana and the staff were so kind to make our trip memorable and perfect. I'm from New York and this spot met every expectation!!!! Bravo!

A very well located and clean boutique hotel. Nice funky feel and the staff were tremendous. Just 100 m to Barenplatz and 500 m to SBB Bern. Room was small but well appointed. Did not upgrade to the street side so view was of another building as expected. Bed was comfortable although another pillow would have been appreciated. I missed breakfast but the lady in the kitchen took pity on me and let me scrape up the remaining food - scrambled eggs, bacon, cold cuts, cheese and bread/croissant. Cappuccino machine was available. From what I could surmise breakfast was good. Because I left early the second night, I was too early for breakfast but the excellent front desk staff let me have a cappuccino and packed me a box of croissants and fruit.Overall a very good boutique hotel with excellent staff in the middle of the action.

We got an upgraded room upon arrival. However even then the room was a bit smaller than expected. If you are travelling with lots of luggage, there is not much room to lay it flat. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room phone didn’t work so that was a bit annoying. The location is perfect if you want to travel around the country by train and it is very close to lovely restaurants and lots of shopping.

It is a small hotel located just a couple of meters from the train station which is super convenient.The rooms are okay, normal size, but the bathroom is super tiny in comparison to the room.The cleanliness of the room did not meet our expectations, we have stayed in other NH Hotels and I do not know why they do not have the same standards.Breakfast is served everyday from 7:00 h til 10:00 h everyday and as expected they have a small variety of food however the almond cream they have is delicious! Be sure to taste it.The gym is terrific is amazing how well equipped it is but it surprised me that they did not have a treadmill maybe they expect you to go running in the city.

Very nice hotel in a great location. Super friendly helpful staff. Great breakfast spread. AC didn’t work very well and room was very hot (we went in May, hotel felt very warm, too warm in our opinion) so double check it works before going to bed.

We stayed here for two nights. The staff is amazing and so are the rooms! Location is the best you could ask for when in Bern. Excellent experience. Would definitely recommend!!Special mention: we sat at the bar in the evening and loved the way Ivana took care of us. She was so awesome and went out of her way to bring us extra jam and croissants that we requested for. NH group is lucky to have her as one of the team members. Thanks Ivana for making our evening the best in Bern!

This is an amazing hotel to stay in Bern! The perfect place that's central Switzerland so it's easy to go around. The train station is right outside so you can go everywhere quickly. With a great range of restaurants nearby and so many shops for shopping. The service was great despite them being busy. We didn't eat there but the rooms were clean and great views from the rooms.

Selten so unfreundliches Personal erlebt. Das wichtigste war der pünktliche Feierabend.(Wir kamen um 22:15 und mussten um 23 Uhr auf den Zug. Was wir dem Mitarbeiter auch mitteilten. Ausserdem muss man dann nicht hinter einem hergehen und die Türe zuknallen.)

Ein tolles Hotel, welches ich nur weiterempfehlen kann! Das Zimmer war modern eingerichtet und absolut sauber. Die Mitarbeitenden war freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück lies keine Wünsche offen. Es gab alles was das Herz begehrt. Das Hotel liegt direkt im Zentrum von Bern. Kleine Defizite sind die fehlenden Parkplätze und der Preis.
