This basic appartement in an old farmhouse has everything you need for a perfect stay. The family, especially Anneliese, is very warm and makes sure you have a great holiday. They love it when the children are playing in their garden. You can ask them (almost) everything and they are very willing to help you.We had a great holiday with our 2 kids (5 and 7) who loved to play in the garden and our inflated swimming pool. But the best part were the kittens, Dapper (our Dutch name, because he was pretty brave and daring) and Pluisje (fluffy) who was getting a new owner during our stay. Our daughters loved the cats in the garden.The apartment is located on the ground floor and has 3 bedrooms, a living room, kitchen and shower room with toilet. But the layout is rather peculiar. As mentioned in the booking description, the ceiling is low, 2m long persons might feel a bit awkward. Also since the house is old, when walking around the wooden construction is sqeaking.As said it is basic, in which I mean it is not a modern appartment, but you will find everything you need... Enough kitchen materials, some kids games and books. And it is clean. You will feel like home.My (only) negative remark are the beds, the mattresses are uncomfortable. The might need replacement.The village exist of mostly holiday homes all in old houses, the village exist of around 10 houses. You feel like your in a Heidi scene. The village is 10 minutes drive up the mountain from the main road through the valley.Tip: we took a lift pass for the Aletesch arena which also include the train to the different stations. So park your car at the station in Grengiols and take the train to the various cable cars.

Wir verbrachten eine schöne Woche in der Alpose in Grengiols. Anneliese ist wirklich die perfekte Gastgeberin. Sie hat uns immer gute Ratschläge für Ausflüge gegeben und hat sich für uns Zeit genommen. Die Alprose ist in einem ruhigen Weiler gelegen. Ich hatte viel Freude, in der Küche und dem Wohnzimmer, ein Feuer anfachen zu können. Die Betten waren auch sehr konfortabel. Auf alle Fälle habe ich grosse Lust, mir diese Gegend nochmals im Sommer anzuschauen. Wir haben es genossen und dazu hatten wir auch noch schönes Wetter.

Ferienwohnung ist einfach eingerichtet, aber mit Allem was man braucht. Sehr sauber und eine unglaublich herzliche Gastgeberin.

Wir haben eine wunderbare Ferienwoche in Grengiols in der Ferienwohnung Alpenrose verbracht. Grengiols und auch Bächerhäusern sind malerisch schön. Die Alpenrose ist ein idealer Ausgangsort um das Wallis zu entdecken. Ob eine ab Haus Wanderung zur Twingi-Schlucht oder weiter ins Binntal oder mit kurzer Bahnanreise direkt zum Aletschgletscher hoch, alles möglich und ein tolles Naturerlebnis. Die Wohnung selbst war super sauber,es gibt alles was man braucht und sie ist urgemütlich. Das und der herzliche Kontakt mit Anneliese und wir haben uns sofort heimelig gefühlt. Danke nochmals für die gelebte Gastfreundschaft und alle Bemühungen für uns.Wir wollen wiederkommen. Herzliche Grüße von den Allgäuern !
