This is the BEST meal of our entire trip! All the dishes were very, very good, portions are big and the price seemed to us pretty low considering the quantity and quality. Our server was also very friendly and cheerful. We loved it here. MUST TRY when you are in geneva!

I had to take one star off due to the unattentive waiters. You can't expect your customers to be sitting for 15 minutes without any form of service. Even a simple offering of a glass of water would suffice. I mean I understand that it does get busy but there's no excuse to leave your customers stranded.That aside everything else was decent, and also had a go at the Swiss staple which is the cheese fondue.

Great fondue! We had one mushroom and one bacon with a charcuterie starter. Fondue was delicious and the waiters were very helpful and patient considering our French is not great! A kind diner next to us also bought us raclette to try (would recommend!) Nice chalet style interior too. It was quite busy so I think we found a good spot!

We are vegetarians (no meat/fish) and we had literally the best food in all of geneva! We came back here 3 times during our 10 day trip!!The rosti with raclette was so amazing must have!!The half & half swiss fondue was sooo goodAnd so were the pastas!HIGHLY recommend! And very reasonably priced! Really goof service

I went to the petit chalet on a really busy night and late..we were welcomed as we were regular we had the best service I ever had experience.Big up to MELVIN he was honestly the best waiter I ever had not only he was quick and efficient he took the time to be polite and really gentle with all customers.Me and my wife spent our time there looking at him and realize what performance he was doing was.Prices are fair and quality was good but not beyond expectation this time.I went there in the summer for some pasta but I’ll recommend in the winter fondue are pieces of meat. It was a long time I didn’t came back and they deserve a good note. We will come back.

I had a fantastic experience at Au Petit Chaltet, and I was wonderfully served by Melvine. The service was exceptional, and Melvine's attentiveness made my dining experience truly memorable. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. I highly recommend Au Petit Chaltet for anyone looking for a delightful culinary experience. While not the worst meal I experienced in Europe, it was undoubtedly the most disappointing. Initially, my wife and I wanted to sit inside the restaurant, but they convinced us that the outside seating was better. However, we soon realized it wasn't, environmental factors such as heat, smokers and pollution. The restaurant's interior was beautiful, but unfortunately, we couldn't enjoy it, as we ended up seated outside on a cramped patio where other tourists kept bumping into our chairs. The service was delivered with charisma, but it lacked attentiveness. The server was a nice person, but it felt that his upselling made me suspect he had ulterior motives. The pizza and salmon tartar was great. The steak was satisfactory but I didn’t enjoy the cheese fondue. I felt like this was a tourist trap.
