This is a great spot to enjoy the Train Station Mural by Maurice Barraud in Lucerne, SwitzerlandThis gorgeous wall mural that is enclosed in glass on the western façade of the SBB Lucerne train station was painted around 1929 by Maurice Barraud, a 20th century artist from Geneva. It is called Nord et Sud or North South. It barely survived a devastating fire to the terminal in 1971.This also a starting point to enjoy the Lozärner Christmas market on the Franziskanerplatz and other places.From here you can access the main station and many facilities including public toilets.The streets are usually very busy.
